M-SURE Series 410 Digital Indicator User Guide

Engineered for precision and built to last, the M-SURE Series 410 Digital Indicators are trusted by professionals for accurate measurement in quality control, machining, and inspection applications. This guide covers everything you need to know to set up, operate, and maintain your digital indicator.

Getting Started: First Use Instructions

Before using your M-SURE Digital Indicator:

  • Ensure the plunger moves freely and smoothly – do not depress it rapidly.
  • This is a precision measuring instrument. Handle with care and avoid excessive force.
  • Do not overtighten mounting fixings – this may impair operation or cause damage.
  • Remove the battery if the indicator will not be used for an extended period.
  • Avoid exposure to liquids, excessive humidity, heat, or direct sunlight.
  • Never lubricate the indicator – oil or grease can attract dust and interfere with movement.
  • Clean only with a dry, soft cloth. Never use solvents or water.
  • The contact point is interchangeable – various styles are available including flat, spherical, blade, and extension types. Simply unscrew to replace.
